The owners have converted this striking Victorian photographer’s studio into a beguiling maisonette that sleeps up to 8 guests. Entering through the private courtyard, stairs lead up to the first floor where three bedrooms and 2 bathrooms have been finished with meticulous attention to detail. Then it is up to living space and The Penthouse’s breathtaking crowing glory. Built in 1877 double height floor to ceiling windows frame the ancient roofs of Petworth in all their higgledy-piggledy beauty with the long elegant lines of Petworth House completing the picture. A well equipped kitchen and dining for up to 10 guests mean that you can dine and relax happily in this exemplary space. There is a sofa bed for additional guests and a well equipped kitchen has everything you would expect from a property of this calibre. Petworth, on your doorstep, is a treasure trove. With antique shops, art galleries, delis, pubs, restaurants, Petworth House & Gardens and an really tempting array of artisan boutiques, this is a town with so much to offer.
