Museum
Classic Hellenic art is acknowledged to be one of the more important contributions to international and mainly to European civilization. Its impact on the formation of modern western civilization’s characteristics and aesthetics was significant. The D. Goulandris private collection provides an opportunity to witness this fact by looking at the exhibits from the 2nd millennium BC to the end of the Roman period in the 4th century AD. Various special periodical exhibitions take place in the museum.
